While this year is the first time Joe Jonas will hit the stage with his supergroup, it’s definitely not his introduction to the annual award show. Back in 2009, Jonas and his brothers Nick and Kevin became the first celebrity hosts of the iHeartRadio MMVAs, setting the bar high both for hosting and performing, with The Jonas Brothers pulling double duty that year.DNCE dropped their self-titled debut album in 2016, which included the hits “Cake By The Ocean,” “Toothbrush” and “Body Moves.” The band recently released their high-energy new single “Kissing Strangers” featuring Nicki Minaj and it’s racing up the charts. The “Wild Things” singer performed during last year’s show, where she also took home the award for Best New Canadian Artist. This year, Cara has already won the Wildcard nomination for Fan Fave Artist or Group, which pits the singer against fellow Canadian heavyweights Drake, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes.In 2015, Cara released her debut album Know-It-All featuring the singles “Wild Things,” “Scars To Your Beautiful” and her breakout single “Here.” Cara’s recent single “Stay” with EDM producer Zedd has already hit the Billboard Top 3, making it Cara’s third Top 10 track of her career.Also just announced, iHeartRadio MMVA veterans Liz Trinnear and Tyrone Edwards will be back this year to hit the stage as co-hosts.
