Search continues for missing man at Bladen County lake

(Photo: WWAY) 1 of 6 KELLY, NC (WWAY) — The search continues after a Fayetteville man who went missing on a Bladen County lake over the weekend.Katie Hall, Public Information Officer for NC Division of Parks and Recreations Park, says 23-year-old Jesse Sgro of Fayetteville was reported missing early Saturday morning while camping with a group at Singletary Lake State Park.- Advertisement – Singletary Lake State Park on April 9, 2018. (Photo: WWAY) Hall said the search resumed at 7 a.m. Monday.She says there are 18 different local groups taking part in the search today including police, sheriff’s offices and search and rescue teams. It was upright in the middle of the lake.They are planning to continue searching all day and tomorrow if necessary.The staging area at the education center at Singletary Lake State Park.WWAY has a reporter at the scene and this story will be updated as we get more information.last_img
